PROFHILO®
Profhilo® is a revolutionary 'beneath the skin' hyaluronic acid moisturising treatment, made with the patented NAHYCO® technology.
This results in a unique hyaluronic acid injectable gel, which has a prolonged stimulating activity on the dermal cells.
When injected into skin, Profhilo® stimulates the skin cell receptors to counteract skin laxity and improve and restore firmness of the skin.
One of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market, Profhilo® not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also remodels ageing and sagging tissue. The most common areas of treatment include the face and neck and can also be used for the décolletage, hands, arms, knees and abdomen area where it would effectively treat skin laxity. The treatment is suitable for men and women as well as offering skin benefits for patients of all ages.
How Does Profhilo® Work?
Ultra-pure hyaluronic acid is precisely injected into the area being treated. Unlike wrinkle-reducing and dermal filler treatments, Profhilo® stimulates collagen and elastin, attracting water in the deeper layers of the skin.
As a stabilised product, the activity on dermal cells will last longer than that of a non-stabilised gel. During this time the stimulation of four different types of collagen and elastin takes place by the slow release of hyaluronic acid.
The stimulation results in significant tissue improvement. Therefore we cannot say that Profhilo® is a skin booster as it also has a significant tightening / lifting effect on the tissue.

WHAT PROFHILO® TREATMENTS WE OFFER?
TREATMENT INFORMATION

Avoid alcohol and vigorous exercise for 48 hours
Avoid ibuprofen/aspirin or any other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs as this can lead to increased / prolonged bruising
Avoid fish oil supplements, Omega-3s, gingko biloba, St John’s Wart, Vitamin E, garlic, and ginseng 48 hours prior to your treatment
Eat fresh pineapple or taking Bromelain supplements three days before and one week after injections can help with swelling
Try to drink plenty of water in the lead-up to your treatment, as this will help the skin to be plump and hydrated before your treatment and assist in the healing process.
Avoid planning any social events up to a week after an injectable treatment, and 2 weeks if you are prone to bruising

Injection points are tailored to each individual. BAP (Bio Aesthetic Points) technique is commonly used whereby the product is strategically placed to ensure comfort, safety and the best results.
The treatment takes approximately 5 minutes to perform
Profhilo Haenkenium® cream is then applied, providing immediate skin hydration, natural antioxidant protection and long-term accumulative skin rejuvenation results.
Then we can schedule your 2nd treatment, or review the appointment if this is your 2nd treatment for 4 weeks time.

Immediately after treatment there may be slight redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness and an itching sensation in the treated area. These reactions are temporary and generally disappear in a few days. If it continues or if other reactions occur, please contact your practitioner.
Avoid touching the treatment area for 6 hours after the treatment. After that the area can be washed with a gentle cleanser and sterile make-up can be applied.
Until the initial swelling and redness have resolved, do not expose the treated area to intense heat (e.g. solarium and sunbathing) or extreme cold. Avoid streneous exercise and swimming to avoid a risk of infection.
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before and after treatment
Apply SPF50 sunscreen
