AMINO ACID FUNCTION

Arginine – Increases skin recovery

Leucine – Improves fine lines and wrinkles.

Isoleucine – Increases collagen and elastin production.

Skin Booster Treatment Information

    • Avoid alcohol and vigorous exercise for 48 hours

    • Avoid ibuprofen/aspirin or any other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs as this can lead to increased / prolonged bruising

    • Avoid fish oil supplements, Omega-3s, ginkgo biloba, St John’s Wart, Vitamin E, garlic, and ginseng 48 hours prior to your treatment

    • Eat fresh pineapple or taking Bromelain supplements three days before and one week after injections can help with swelling

    • Try to drink plenty of water in the lead-up to your treatment, as this will help the skin to be plump and hydrated before your treatment and assist in the healing process.

    • Avoid planning any social events up to a week after an injectable treatment, and 2 weeks if you are prone to bruising

    • Come makeup free to your appointment

    • Topical numbing cream is applied 15 minutes prior to treatment for your comfort

    • The treatment is carried out and takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete

    • Teoxane Post-procedure balm is applied to the area which is antibacterial, with arnica and aloe to soothe the area and enhance the results

    • You will have little raised bumps after treatment which usually settle within 12 hours but full recovery is 48 hours, avoid massaging the area

    • Avoid touching the area, and no makeup for 12 hours after treatment

    • Avoid alcohol and vigorous exercise for 48 hours

    • Avoid ibuprofen/aspirin or any other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs as this can lead to increased / prolonged bruising

    • Avoid sunbathing, and extremes of heat or cold 14 days post-treatment

    • Wear a minimum of SPF 30 12 hours post-treatment

    • Avoid fish oil supplements, Omega-3s, gingko biloba, St John’s Wart, Vitamin E, garlic, and ginseng 48 hours after your treatment

    • Eat fresh pineapple or taking Bromelain supplements one week after injections can help with swelling

    • Try to drink plenty of water to assist in the healing

    • Please contact us if you experience any redness, tenderness, itching, or swelling that worsens after 3 days

    • You will see results 4 weeks after your final treatment

    • The duration of the results depends on the degree of correction required and the individual’s lifestyle, age, and skin type but results typically last 6-9 months

    • A single session every 6-9 months is required to maintain results
